Farmer: an equation with 20 unknowns and yet …..

Well, this job is getting very complicated.

On the scale of humanity, we were there so little time, hunter, fisherman, gatherer, then with horses, a plough, a seeder, and all in the fields some time later to harvest.

When I go to visit you, I now see something completely different: big machines, big investments, and in the discussion more clouds in the discussion than sunshine. And for good reason: many years back, the market was growing on the one hand, and the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides made it possible to envisage substantial profitability.

Everything is changing now: the climate is more and more excessive, the markets are versatile, the cost of inputs is exploding, the administrative constraints are gnawing away, the active ingredients available on the market to fight against insects, diseases or weeds (such as we say) are becoming scarce, at the same time the pressure of diseases and insects has increased, labor is difficult to find (people no longer want to work), the cost of labor is excessive, the behavior of buyers in supermarkets is sometimes difficult and unscrupulous, and so on, and the best.

It therefore becomes an equation with 20 unknowns to manage to combine both financial results and customer satisfaction. You have seen how it has both become complex and how it takes the farmer away from his attention to the quality of the land. In such a complicated context, it is natural to stay focused on what we know and to buy it at the lowest price because everything that is not spent is already earned.

So I see the pleasure of the job gradually disappearing in favor of structural fear and anxiety. And it's hardly different whether you're organic or not.

The awareness of changing the paradigm is becoming more and more evident, and the offers more and more abundant, and each farmer is overwhelmed with both information and commercial offers extolling all the merits of disease reduction, improvement of the earth, etc... of the perlimpinpin powder …. And it's really hard to figure it out.

However, I have some good news for you.

Because for the past two years, we have had examples that work with, as it were, virtuous paths to success. With simple solutions, in the end, inexpensive especially in investment. The land has improved considerably, the financial results, the quality of the products and their conservation as well, not to mention the positive impact on the ecosystem. In this context, fear and anxiety were transmuted into confidence and joy. And this is fun.

Well that's what I'm sharing with you now.

You have all asked yourself this question: how to do it? Who to believe? What to believe? How much will it cost me? How much will it earn me? I asked myself all these questions too.

And because Farmer has been my job in the past, I understand how much your concerns, your objectives, and above all how to achieve them.

This is what allows me today to affirm that our desire is not to displace a problem, but to provide lasting solutions.

Change things in your head

Succeeding in the bet of improving one's land, increasing its resilience, increasing one's income, removing pesticides, and eradicating diseases, is not reasoned to expose the qualities of a product. The approach is holistic, global, and it first takes into account the needs of the soil and the plant, and it is precisely by disregarding the constraints mentioned above, by being centered on the love of the earth , that it teaches us the way it needs to be cared for, and that when done right, the results blow your mind. The earth is fine, it does not understand that we are in our minds, in our calculators, before taking care of it above all. It's a bit like saving money on your child's food and care and hoping he's doing well.

Observe and experience for yourself

You cannot realize what I am writing to you, or even believe me, without having experienced it for yourself. You can get a glimpse of it by watching our videos, by going to see our customers, but only your experience will be decisive.

When I started in this business in 2015, we could improve the land within two years, which was already fast compared to Permaculture, but with results much lower than what can be achieved today. moreover, in a few months.

Without value judgment, I note that it is indeed the fertilizers of chemical origin, and very often of animal origin (what is called organic matter) which causes the pollution or even the destruction of the soil, making it hard as concrete, which is therefore difficult to work with, which erodes quickly, which no longer allows water to pass through, and which floods with the slightest rain. 80% of the mass of life on earth is underground, and it is precisely these fertilizers that make it disappear. The rest is just a consequence. And one of the consequences and the increased appearance of diseases and insects.

Up'ness or not, regeneration has a cost

But there are fertile lands, and fertile woods, and when you look closely at how they work, it is the plants that feed the plants and not the animals that feed the plants, nor the chemical fertilizers. This is a very simple observation. So we didn't invent anything. You may find that it is much easier to use chemical fertilizers, as their cost is lower. Next come organic fertilizers, and vegetable-based fertilizers are the most expensive. They are also the rarest. But they are the ones that respect the life of the soil the most, and in the presence of plant composts, green manures activated by powerful biostimulants, we easily find the characteristics of primary forests. And the consequence is very positive on yields and the absence of disease or insect pests. Only this has a higher cost than the implementation, whether it is called Up'ness or not. And that is the difficulty for us to present its solutions to you, because if you do not spend this sum to regenerate the land, you compare its cost to your current inputs.

Trust us? Um, is that really the point? Trust you? Yes !

So that you can experience it, we never advise you to trust us 100%, but we now have experience in both the choices of inputs, and how to implement them, so that a choice is optimized, and brings you the maximum. If your fear is important, opt for intensive programs on 10% of your surfaces, because this is what will allow you to then define a regeneration strategy adapted to your company with your means. Once you have made this choice, we are here to help you realize your dreams.

This does not prevent you from testing and adopting on the rest of your farm, our essentials, which work perfectly with your current inputs, and which improve the results, but not as much as this positive equation and which we have experienced several times : Regenerated soil + Active plants = abundant production + plant health + environmental health + human health + increased operating results.
